In search of new hospitality

Slowdown Hotels features the concepts that are sustainable and have engraved in their core DNA the values that we hold at the highest, upon which we have based the criteria to include the hotels and experiences in our boutique collection.

 

Resorts that care for the environment and care for nature. Hotels that, as well as their managers and owners, introduce their guests to a new culture and forge friendships, carefully selected wellness programs that awaken the mind and the body. It is not necessary to travel only to avoid the stress of everyday life.

 

Voyage also helps the traveler to ditch the routines, the familiar, the habits, the established perception of self, the normal tastes and preferences; the voyage is supposed to affect all our senses, all our being, to help us evolve into the best version of ourselves, to enrich our perspective of the world. Health, since well-being represents our highest value. All we truly have is our health. When we feel healthy, we are filled with creative energy, with life force. This is also a time we turn ourselves towards concepts that support and innovatively promote health. Such concepts feature natural building materials, offer quality personal care products, and put on the table organic foods that are ideally grown locally. These concepts are designed not place an unnecessary burden on the environment by merging with it and form a symbiotic relationship with their natural surroundings.

 

Nature

Nature to us represents the original environment that we came from and should live in harmony with and know well. To live in harmony with the pristine, untouched, raw nature is what defines us as sentient beings. Nature, where we find tranquillity and peace. Nature that nourishes us and gives us life.

Balance

Balance is what allows us to cultivate the best version of ourselves. This happens when we find something that motivates and revitalizes us to help us stay focused and maintain a flow of the mind that leads to balance. After a prolonged period of stress, a longer period of relaxation is also needed and constantly maintaining our inner balance is crucial for personal fulfilment. Good sleep, balanced and healthy diet, exercise and relaxation are fundamental for maintaining a well-balanced functioning of the body. When on vacation, it is important to get enough sleep, since our body and mind regenerate best when we sleep. Vacation is supposed to be relaxing; the things we seldom indulge ourselves in at home, acquire some sort of a luxury status – this is sometimes true also for deep sleep, necessary for intensive regeneration.

 

Experience

Experience is what in our opinion allows us to grow, evolve and better ourselves. Experience allows us to advance faster than watching thousands of movies. Experiences form and define us. They awaken the passions and invigorate the soul. They are the most effective method of learning.
