The stone house with arches and large glass windows, hidden in the lush growth, is absolutely breathtaking. The story of the house began 40 years ago when Luigi Gorga fell in love with this piece of land - the Capaccio area – and transformed the original ruins of a small monastery into a piece of paradise. The Gorga family renovated the house according to the guidelines laid down for the original construction, which included a stone facade and wooden vaulted ceilings inside. The family's devotion to art, design, and tradition gives the house its unique originality.

Il Cannito consists of 4 designer-inspired rooms: Sun, Earth, Moon, and Sea. Two of the four rooms that the resort offers are located in the main house with arched windows. A winding path paved with stone and wood leads to the entrance, inviting you to a private, secluded retreat in the heart of nature.
Our experience was room named SUN, which has a large terrace facing the lush forest. High ceilings, stone facade, and polished artisan terracotta floors all come together as a whole that soothes the mind and body and offers a feeling of comfort in the middle of the authentic & typical nature of the Mediterranean Cilento area. The bathroom with hydro-massage and hydro-sonic bathtubs is a genuine wellness oasis, offering a special experience enhanced by large windows facing the forest.
